support

Give it up for these awesome organizations!

None of us in this kind of work have the ability to be everything for everyone, or to serve people in all the ways people need help, care, support, information or community by ourselves. So, this #GivingTuesday, we'd like to bring your attention to just a few other organizations besides us (oh, we'll ask you for money for ourselves soon enough, don't you worry!) who we really appreciate who are participating. We're so grateful for them and all that they do. If you're looking for a new place to give some support this week, we suggest you start here:

Anonymous asks:
So me and my crush and friend were at the beach today and all was going well until her dad (who divorced her mom, her mom could see her that week) showed up and started ruining the whole day. I don't know exactly what happened because I wanted to stay out of it. She started crying (her girl friend was comforting her)....

I came into work on June 12th, 2016, as if it were any other morning. One of my daily tasks is to check all of our social media channels. I opened Twitter to find people talking about Orlando.

The Art of Getting Bi

Being bisexual entails a very specific struggle that isn’t talked about enough: being believed.

Orlando: Ways You Can Help and Support Services

We cannot begin to express our sorrow about the shootings at the Pulse in Orlando last night. Our hearts go out and are open to all of the friends, lovers, partners, community and family who have lost loved ones, and to those, and their loved ones, who have been injured.  All of our wishes and hopes are focused on the care and recovery of those harmed and for those hurting.

Help send us to camp!

This summer, we're making a big thing happen we've never been able to do before: we're bringing all our staff and volunteers -- from the United States, Europe,  Canada, and even our staffer in Australia -- to one place for a giant staff campout and team-building retreat.
