Gabrielle Kassel

Gabrielle Kassel (she/they) is a queer⁠ (queer: In the context of sexuality, a broad term for sexual orientation that can describe any number of orientations which are not heterosexual. People who identify as queer may be bisexual or pansexual, gay or lesbian, questioning, asexual or more.) sex⁠ (sex: Different things people choose to do to actively express or enact sexuality and sexual feelings; often this involves genitals, but not always. ) educator and sex journalist with more than a decade of experience creating content at the intersection of queerness, sexual⁠ (sexual: About or relating in some way to sex or sexuality.) health, and pleasure. In addition to Scarleteen, their work has appeared in publications such as Cosmopolitan, Well+Good, Women’s Health, SELF, Men’s Health, Teen Vogue, and more! She is currently working towards a dual-masters in Human Sexuality and Social Work from Widener University, which they plan to use to offer queer-inclusive therapy and support their goals of providing comprehensive sexual wellness care.
