Micro tears/ condoms in general

I recently had protected sex with my girlfriend on the last day of her period (she has a 28 day cycle) when I was near climax I pulled out and ejaculated inside the condom away from her. Afterwards I didnt thoroughly check the condom but I did see the semen sitting in the reservoir tip and didn’t any large rips or semen dripping from the condom, am I protected?

When condoms break, it's going to be obvious; there will be a large rip or tear that you can easily see, and sometimes the person wearing it, their partner, or both can actually feel it happen. So if you didn't see any tears, then you can assume the condom stayed intact and did its job.
