(The thing about doing things is that you can't just try them once. You have
to keep working on them or yeah, they will not be effective, as you've discovered. For example, you mentioned that you don't do therapy unless you're in a crisis, and a couple of the staff shared with you their own experiences with therapy being more effective if you keep continuing it after you've managed the crisis because then you'll have better tools to manage your feelings and patterns in the future and not spiral so often and spiral less intensely when it does happen.)

Okay, great, you just want some reassurance from this thread. So, what exactly do you want to hear? What would be reassuring to hear? Can you tell me in your own words what it is you need to hear from us? I'm asking specifically what it is you need to hear because from my perspective, several folk have given reassurance and we still seem to be in the same place we started. So, pretend like you are one of us and speak to yourself. Say it like you mean it. Knowing what it is you need, what reassurance would you give yourself?
