Pill question

Unread post by amare »

Hi there,

This weekend I'm going away with my boyfriend, I'm currently taking the combined pill (Rigevidon- I have been taking it since around last May) and I took my last pill before my week break last night (monday) and would usually begin my 'period' on Thursday. Seeing as how I don't really want my period this weekend, would I simply start my next pack today and carry on taking it as normal until I finish that one?

That isn't guaranteed to wind up with you not getting your withdrawal bleed (you may still get it anyway), but yes, taking active pill packs back to back will often result in missing a withdrawal bleed.
