Hello there, Holymoly. Welcome to Scarleteen. :) As long as you take your pills on time and without missing any -- which sounds like you do! -- there is no need for Emergency Contraception. If and when someone is taking Birth Control pills, the protection works on the whole cycle. You can learn more...

Re: Pregnancy test when to take it
Honestly, taking a test is going to be up to you and about what you need to feel calm and safe. If you think doing will put your nerves at ease then, test away.

Hello there, ThisIsAwkward. Welcome to Scarleteen. :) Can I ask if you are up to date with you sexual healthcare, such as testing? If not, this could be a good chance to start. Is very hard for us to answer questions like this one through a service like this. First thing that comes to my mind is to ...

Re: Pregnancy test when to take it
If and when someone is testing from pregnancy, you want to follow the instructions of the test you are going to take. That being said, usually you can test 14 days after the risk. Here you can have more information about this topic: http://www.scarleteen.com/article/pregnancy_parenting/peeing_on_a_s...
Re: Help
Hello there, Maria. I hope you don't mind if I chime in.
You mentioned you did see a therapist a year ago, is this someone you stop seeing? Also, did they talk to you about strategies to cope with anxiety when it happens?

Is hard to predict how someone is going to react to Emergency Contraception. It can mess up a little bit with your cycle but nothing that won't get back on track after a month or two.

Re: Condom broke now what
Hello, Lucli. Welcome to Scarleteen. :) Condoms do not need to be tested with water afterwards. Because they are not designed to carry so much liquid is easy for them to break, giving you the idea they didn't work. If and when a condom breaks, it is going to be absolutely visible. Like when a balloo...

Hello, there! Welcome back to the boards. :) I am sorry you have been feeling so anxious about this, please do anything you can to take care of yourself. Hello there, Jk. Welcome to Scarleteen! :) It could be really helpful to understand that sex is not a performance. It is not something we do and either we succeed or we fail, or something we do "well" but instead something we enjoy. Also, stop framing intercourse as "the real thing&qu...

Periods are not always the same so it's not unusual for them to change/shift. Bodies are not machines so we can count that changes are part of them.

This is something that will be better answered by the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics. You can always call them and ask them by the phone without having to make an appointment. If they are not available, a pharmacist will be your second best choice.

Hello, Chica. Welcome to Scarleteen. :) There are a lot of reasons why periods can change. Being sexually active is not one of them but stress and changes in your routine -- such as lack of sleeping, changes in diets, etc -- are. Bodies are not machines so they won't always act and react the same wa...

Hello there, Choka. I want to say kudos to you for talking to your partner and redefining your limits and boundaries about sex. That is certainly a very hard step to take but one that can help a lot. Re: Itchy vulva, painful clitoris
No need to feel embarrased here. :) Yeast infections don't always come with white discharge, but they almost always come with the itchiness you are describing. A healthcare provider in person is the only one who can diagnose this but, if you choose to go and get help do keep in mind that yeast infec...
