Hi rajaman,

How much you do (or do not) masturbate is really up to you and what's comfortable for your body. As long as you aren't forgoing important life things in order to masturbate, frequent masturbation is not an issue. Does that make sense?

Is any part of that behavior causing you distress or worry? Or were you more concerned that masturbating almost every day might have negative effects?

It may help to know that people have used sexual media of one kind or another to help with arousal for centuries. You can read more about that here: http://www.scarleteen.com/article/polit ... xual_media . However, if using porn is causing you discomfort, you do have the option of removing it from your masturbation routine and trying other things to get aroused, such as fantasizing. Does that sound doable?

Hi rajaman,

Can you explain what you meant by that last reply?

In case you aren't familiar with the term, "fantasizing" just means thinking about people or situations that you find sexy or arousing. So rather than turning on porn and watching something happen that turns you on, you think about it instead. Is that an option for you?
