Rhythm?

I would like to have sex. Tomorrow (it’ll be the 18th day in my cycle... my cycles are anywhere from 26 to 30 days long).
If I have sex in day 18, and the condom breaks am I at a risk of pregnancy???
I really hope it won’t break though.

Hi Lola,

Can you give me a sense of how you're tracking your cycle? Are you only counting days?

Too, we can't ever say that vaginal sex is 100% without risk of pregnancy, even when effective birth control is present. So if you're feeling like you absolutely cannot risk pregnancy at all that's something to consider.

Does that app have you tracking your basal temperature and cervical mucus? If not, then it is not likely to give you accurate predictions. Too, if you're interested in learning how to use the fertility awareness method effectively (FAM is a better option than the rhythm method) in addition to condoms, you can read about that here: Get With the Flow: All About FAM
