Unprotected sex but period came on expected day

Unread post by Jasmine Corpin »

So, on the 30th of March, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, but he did not ejaculate in me because I pulled out seconds before he came. Ever since then, I've been googling symptoms of possible pregnancy symptoms, different discharges, missed periods, etc. Then I downloaded a period tracker app on my phone to schedule the day I'll expect my period, and it came on the day I expected it, and it was just a normal period. Started off with a small flow on the first day, then heavy the next day or two. But now, my period is still flowing, but it appears dark red. And when I go to wipe it off, it appears a deep red color. After a while, my pad ends up reddish brown afterwards. My flow isn't as watery and heavy, but blood will still come out, I just don't feel it. I don't know if it just means that my period is close to ending or something's up. Overall, I'm constantly worrying and so scared that I MIGHT have a possibility of being pregnant. I haven't taken a pregnancy test, but I haven't been feeling the symptoms. Of course I didn't miss my period (I really hope I don't), and I haven't been feeling nauseous nor have I puked, no severe fatigue, etc. My breasts did feel a bit tender, but nothing too severe, had my normal menstrual cramps, bloating, gassy, mood swings, you know. Usual PMS symptoms. I'm just a bit worried about my period flow. I've had a four day period before, but that was only one time, and I've read that it was normal. I have three days left until my period ends, I still get cramps here and there, rarely any mood swings, but still irritable, bloating, excessive gas, and cravings for sweets and certain foods. I just want to know if any of this could lead to pregnancy, possible signs of it, or I'm just stressing myself out. I forgot to mention that I've also been checking my stomach, and my lower abdomen appears bloated like it usually does on my period. I'm worried about any future symptoms after my period and realizing that I possibly could be pregnant.

We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.

Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.

We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family
