Blue veins on boobs and thighs

I’ve been on the Nuvaring for a month and had an incident with a condom breaking a couple weeks ago. I have since had my withdrawal bleed and passed two pregnancy tests so I know I’m not pregnant. But I have noticed blue veins on my chest and thighs and am wondering if it could be from the hormones in the Nuvaring?

Hi Dragon15,

The healthcare provider who prescribed your Nuvaring is the best person to ask about any changes you've noticed since starting the prescription.


Your pharmacist is also a good person to ask.


The information sheet in the Nuvaring package will also have info on known side effects.
