Is my penis normal?

Unread post by Sky H »

So when it's erect, I can fully pull the foreskin back, but it starts hurting when I get most of the way down, and still kinda hurts when it's fully back. The pain is not too strong, but it's noticable. Is this normal, or should I go to the doctor about this?

Hey Sky,

That sounds normal enough to me. Pulling back on the foreskin can tug at places where it starts attaching to the shaft, which may hurt a bit. However, if you have ongoing pain or want a second opinion, you can always talk with your medical provider. <3

it hurts on the front of the foreskin, not where it attaches to the shaft.

It could still be that the discomfort is from the the skin being tugged as it's retracted. But, if it's causing you discomfort or and is happening regularly, then going to a healthcare provider can help you determine if there's something else going on.
