I haven't been with a partner the last few months. When I masturbate I've noticed lately that there is a burning sensation and not a pleasurable sensation with ejaculation lately. I can't have an STD and really don't know why it's occuring but figured mentioning it here may yeild an answer. I don't know if it has to do with techinque but lubrication and focus on glans has been the exact same way I always have since childhood. I'm not being rough either.
