bc concern

Unread post by omnomnonny »

i started this months pack about a day late (maybe 21 hours or so?) i know its important to start the new pack on time but i was wondering if it decreases the effectiveness of the bc by a whole lot? like would there be enough of a gap from the placebo week plus that one extra day for my hormones to drop?

my pack says missing/taking one late is fine and i wouldnt need any back up but i was just wondering

Hi Omnomnonny,

I would go off of the directions included with your pill. Too, if you're still worried, you can always back up with condoms if you have sex in order to have an extra layer of protection.
