Here's my list:
I once won a state-level vocabulary competition
This summer, I discovered a talent for LARPing
I own a book signed by my favorite astronaut
Oh wow, this is a tough one. I don't know why but I want to go with LARPing, I figure you got into that before this summer.
Mine are:
I once cooked on a naval ship.
I have a scar from falling off the toilet.
I my older sister once convinced me that turkey was the what they called the youngest child and that that's what people ate for Thanksgiving.
You are correct about which was the lie, and correct that it was a half-truth! Actually, I did start LARPing this summer, but I don't really have a talent for it-- I'm rather shy and hesitant at stuff like improv. I've stuck with it and I'm getting better, though.
To explain the rest (because why not?) I won the vocabulary competition in sixth grade and went to the nationals in Florida. (Last time I played two truths and a lie, the lie was that I won the national level.) And the book is Lost Moon, signed by co-author Jim Lovell, commander of Apollo 13. It was my boyfriend's Christmas gift to me last year.
1. I decided to major in jazz improvisation even though I'd never improvised before in my life.
2. When I was 13 I was so obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean that I watched it 28 times over the summer, and memorized the entire script.
3. I have a pet cat called Pipsqueak, but I am actually more of a dog person and the only reason I don't have a dog right now is because my mum doesn't like them.
Kaizen: I'd love to think you have a book signed by your favourite Astronaut, so I'm going to assume that's true. I have no idea what LARPing is, so I don't think that's a lie. So is it the vocab competition?
My List:
In grade school, I used to read during class by hiding a book in my desk.
Since my mom is in the military I've moved 14 times.
I'm the oldest of all of my cousins.
Hey moonlight! As mentioned above, LARPing was actually a half truth. It stands for Live Action Roleplay. So it's sorta like a Dungeons and Dragons type of thing, except that instead of just saying, say, "I leap into the room and put the guard in a headlock," you say that and you actually leap forward and wrap your arm around an imaginary foe. Also instead of rolling dice, you test for things (like, did you successfully put the guard in a headlock or not?) by playing rock-paper-scissors against someone!
Hi moonlight! The thing about jazz is actually 100% the truth. I just graduated with my degree in jazz performance on the baritone sax, and I had never improvised before I started the degree! I could, of course, play my instrument I just couldn't improvise, and now I can!
I'll make a guess for your list -- This is a hard one, as they all sound totally reasonable. I'll just hazard a guess and say you're not the oldest of all your cousins?

it's the fantasy one. sorry for the extremely, like ridiculously late reply. I'm a fantasy nerd. I'm addicted to Tolkien and Robert E Howard and tear through any good fantasy stuff I can get my hands on
