toilet seat 'myth'

Hi, although this is going to sound stupid my ocd has taken over and gone into full overdrive thus, I am reaching out.

I currently live with female housemates and at the same time deal with mild/severe contamination ocd. The other day (when masturbating) I didn't fully ejaculate but released some preejaculate, shortly after I went to the bathroom to pee and I noticed i had got (what i think/or at least pretty sure) was pee on the toilet seat, im worreid that sperm from the precum came out when peeing and was on the toilet seat. Very shortly after one of my female housemates used the same bathroom thus sat on the same seat. Although i wiped the seat my brain keeps questioning wether i wiped it all off/wiped it off properly and since then my intrusive thoughts have been going crazy. Is there any chance of pregnancy from this?

Thankyou any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Hello userSG1400, and welcome to Scarleteen.

Quoting from a short article on here to say that there is no fear of pregnancy "from casual, nonsexual contact: pregnancy happens from sexual contact with very direct genital and fluid contact -- not from toilet seats, shaking hands, doorknobs or the like". We have more articles on our site that can walk you through this and related questions about the strength and longevity of sperm:-

Sorry to hear that this situation triggered your intrusive thoughts. Hope this helps.
