How to make a carepackage for your partner

Hello
I am currently in a long-distance relationship, because of the recent COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S. she might have to go back to her home which is a lot further away than the UC she is staying at. So we won't be able to see each other as often as we first agreed upon. I wanted to make her a care package so that it would help with the distance more and I was hoping to get some ideas here. thank you.

I love this question! What a great idea. o3o I also love care packages and gift giving, so here are some of my ideas:

- First off, anything she likes would be good to include. A particular candy or snack she enjoys? Maybe she collects stickers or pins? Anything that shows you're thinking of her would be much appreciated, I'm sure!

- How about some pre-stamped, pre-addressed postcards/cards so she can write you some snail mail?

- Calligraphy set so she can practice and send you calligraphy notes.

- Maybe you could do up some "movie invites" or "game nights" or "dinner date night" invites where you've already set aside time for her and you two will facetime/skype/whatnot while watching a movie, playing a game, or eating together.

- Do you both video game? Maybe a silly, cheap video game that you can also buy and chat with each other as you play it or when you reach benchmarks in it? Or a steam code for an mmorpg type game you can play together? Or do you both enjoy reading? You could get her a book and you could do a sort of 'book club' together while reading through it.

- Do you have a sweatshirt or shirt she enjoys wearing? Or maybe she likes the smell of your cologne? You could send her that shirt or a small bottle of the cologne (bubble wrap well!) you use so she can wear/use them and think of you.

- A planner that has your free times written into it so she knows the best times you two can call/chat.

- A handwritten note to her about what's up with you and how much you care for her and are thinking about her.

- Maybe a disposable camera (just plain fun) and instructions to take a lot of pictures of herself, maybe going out and getting to do things and have fun when travel is more open, that you two can go through the next time you meet up.

- Adult coloring book & some colored pencils or a bath bomb or something - something for her to relax and pass the time with.

- A picture of you that you take specially to print out for her to see the first time when she opens the package.

THIS IS TOO CUTE.

horriblegoose has so many wonderful ideas I don't really have a lot to add. I particularly like home-made things: the effort and care that goes into them, plus their uniqueness can make them extra special - as well as inexpensive. You don't have to be super creative to write notes or make a mini-scrapbook of memories in pictures/words.
