How do you choose a partner, friend, or both?

Unread post by Heather »

Seems like a simple question, right?

But it's actually the head of a really complex pile of issues.

Which is why I'm curious.

How do you choose your romantic or sexual partners and/or your close friends?

How much of an active choice does it feel like for you? When you do, do you feel like both/all of you are choosing, or that only one of you is?
