How to Make Sex Less Awkward?
I always hear the first time's gonna be really awkward, but is there a way to try and avoid that awkwardness?

Re: How to Make Sex Less Awkward?
Hi Shovel,
It's true that our first time being sexual with someone is often a little awkward, in the same way that any instance where there's big feelings and communication in an unfamiliar situation can be awkward. However, that awkwardness isn't necessarily a bad thing, and Heather does a really good job of outlining why that is here: https://www.scarleteen.com/article/advi ... am_awkward.
Some other things that can help you feel a little more comfortable navigating sex are to have some tools for helping you and your partner communicate. I'm going to give you a few to help you get started:
-Be a Blabbermouth! The Whats, Whys and Hows of Talking About Sex With a Partner
-Driver's Ed for the Sexual Superhighway: Navigating Consent
-Yes, No, Maybe So: A Sexual Inventory Stocklist
Does any of that help?
