It's okay. I hope you can feel better soon, and the other services are here for you if and when you need them.

Re: stressed about having feelings for a friend
Hey there, rodya. Welcome to the boards.
Before I say more, can you give me an idea of how long this has been feeling difficult for you? Days, weeks, months, years...?

Re: Overwhelmed by Birth Control Options
I want to add a few things to what Andy said for you, Keely! 1) The worst side effects of any hormonal method (and most medications) are in the first few months. So, by starting and stopping two different methods you only used for a month each, you kind of guaranteed you'd be hit hard by side effect...

Re: would it be possible to delete account/posts?
I moved them to the area of the boards only staff can view. We do need to keep records of our users, so don't delete accounts, but it sounds like you need to make a choice moving forward not to post here, since it isn't a good fit for you. Might I suggest that in the future, you use our live chat or...

Re: Blood from penis or not
Hi there, mika. We just couldn’t possibly know for sure where this blood came from with only this information. Perhaps you scratched yourself? Regardless, unless you are experiencing pain, the amount of blood is profuse, or you have some other reason to believe you have experienced a serious injury,...

Re: Abdominal pain/fatigue after anal masturbation
It may just be that the muscles that activity can stimulate — like those of your abdomen — were reacting to the specific stimulus of this toy and it was new. I’d be observant to try and get this answered for yourself: is it happening more than once? What else is also in play when it happens besides ...

Re: Is sex as a trans person just 'meant' to be boring?
I want to pipe in and make a strong suggestion that you pick up a copy of the book "Trans Sex" by Lucie Fielding (who is also herself a trans woman). It's ultimately meant for clinicians, but her style is very readable, and the information in it is fantastic and wide-reaching.
Re: Wet vulva
So, there is a fluid literally called "vaginal sweat." It's not the same as sweat, but it is a similar consistency, and it's something that often happens when a person becomes sexually aroused. It also isn't just vaginal, it's also vulval.

Re: Late second period + managing OCD symptoms during pregnancy scare
Sorry for what I misunderstood! You know, in this case, I think if you want to take a second test, and that feels okay to you, you can go ahead and do that. Even people who aren't worried the way you are will often take a second test a week or two after a first one if their period hasn't arrived as ...

Re: Late second period + managing OCD symptoms during pregnancy scare
Hi there, hedera. I'm so sorry that this is tormenting you in this way. So, the medical rule of thumb when it comes to periods and concern is that if someone has missed or skipped periods or otherwise had something of concern happening for three or more cycles then it's time to be concerned. If that...

Re: sexually frustrated
So, we seem to be at an impasse here. Ultimately, you can try all you can to go get a healthcare evaluation (you didn’t answer my question about if your parents have been reluctant to get you medical care in general) and either get that care or go without it. Or, you can decide you’d rather not, and...

Re: sexually frustrated
It really does sound to me like you need a healthcare evaluation. How about telling your Dad the parts that are most concerning: the dizziness and burning. (Personally, I don’t think anything around arousal or s a likely medical issue.) If he also tells your mom, that’s fine. Are your parents often ...
Re: Pregnancy
Hi there. So, this kind of indirect contact with semen isn’t a way pregnancy can happen. Sperm cells are actually very delicate, so get busted with contact like this, and seminal fluid is also needed to counteract the acidic nature of the vagina. As well, the things she’s feeling aren’t even associa...

Re: My penis looks different
Hi there, Tanc. Chances are good that this is nothing to worry about: more penises have some bend to them when erect than not. It's not because of anything anyone did, it's just because the way erection works (effectively, tubes within the penis filling with blood) and the way that bodies aren't lin...

Re: Too problematic much?
I hear you, but what I am suggesting is that this isn't a beneficial question to ask or to try and get others to answer. It sounds like you are saying that you struggle with self-worth or self-esteem, and that you feel like relationships or being with someone is some kind of competition where someon...

Re: Sex life ruined because I don't know my sexuality
Hi there, Wendy. I tell my girlfriend to stop for a second but she's already been going at it for 30+ mins so she thinks stopping is going to lose all the work she put in if you know what I mean? Is this something she has actually said to you, or is this something you are assuming she thinks or feel...

Re: Too problematic much?
Hi there, Wanjee. If this is the same relationship you've talked about before, I think we should figure there are a lot more layers to this than this post. However, I would personally suggest never having conversations about who is or has been "the best" person. In most people's lives, the...

Re: diy sex toys
I would not use a ziploc bag as a barrier. They both don’t offer the kind of real barrier from pathogens condoms do, and they also aren’t a soft enough material to not cause abrasions.
You can get condoms through places like Amazon just like toys, though!

I also want to add that most places that ship toys do so in ways that are incredibly discreet. Unless your family members open your mail or packages -- a thing you can ask them not to do anymore, if so -- no one will know what you have ordered.

Re: Withdrawal Bleeding or Period?
The differences here are most likely because you took the BC pills, but ultimately we can’t say for sure.
What we can help you with, though, is no longer having unprotected sex when you clearly don’t want a pregnancy. Would you like help negotiating condom use with your partner?

Hey there. I’m afraid I don’t know for sure why it lists that one specifically, save that that may well be the only one that showed any issues in studies. Since it doesn’t list Depo, and since you were prescribed this while you are also prescribed Depo, I would not assume there are any issues. It al...

Re: Unusual period after EC
I also want to add that having a period due 7 days after apparent ovulation tells you that your tracker isn't giving you accurate information, because that would be much too soon for a period to come after ovulating. None of those trackers can give very accurate ovulation information, just so you kn...

Runmelon, given that you're very clear you don't want to become pregnant, would you also like to talk about other methods you can back up condom use with in the future, ongoing methods rather than EC? I'm happy to walk you through some options, if you like.
