Re: Boyfriend and abandonment issues
I don't know if this will help or not, but one way to help psych yourself up for a conversation is to realize that by not talking to him because you're afraid of x, y, and z happening will be a self-fulfilling prophecy. He'll never know you don't understand his answer if you don't say so. A larger d...

Re: Early sign of abuse or something else?
While I 100% agree your boyfriend's behavior is abusive, controlling, manipulative, and terrifying, I just want to quickly add that behavior doesn't have to be abusive for you to leave. You can leave if you're unhappy. You can leave if you're uncomfortable. You can leave if you're dissatisfied. You ...

Hi, Sunflower12345! Mo has excellent advice! The only thing I wanted to add was - you said you are generally a pretty anxious person. Does your anxiety often have you feeling stuck like this? Do you have some healthy coping mechanisms in place for this anxiety? Do you see anyone about your anxiety? ...

Re: Can't fit more than a finger inside my vagina
The above advice about relaxing and making it something fun is great advice! For my own comments, just a note that you can use tampons and even menstrual cups even with a small opening. I would suggest starting with tampons before cups just for ease of use. Look for tampons that mention something li...

Re: The Virginity Scam
My answers are rather short, so sorry if you were looking for something longer! 1. Subjective patriarchal concept of female purity rooted in misogyny and cisheteronormativity. Virgin could possibly be a useful term in certain circumstances if there were not so much stigma and negativity attached to ...

Re: Spotting while on Yasmin
It does take our bodies a little while to completely adjust to hormonal changes, even when those hormonal changes are prompted by and controlled by something like birth control. Spotting can last for up to 3 - 4 months when you first start birth control. After that, your body should adjust, and any ...

Sorry my post is a bit rushed - it sounds like this may be something that you expect to happen rather soon, so I just wanted to get some thoughts out here for you ASAP! . If someone can't respect that you want to use protection, especially without any STI screenings beforehand, then they're unsafe b...

Herstory, I have some book recs, if they might help you process? I know we all have different ways we learn and process best. Re: Haven't had my period in a month
It sounds like you're pretty regular since you have an expected time you get your period, but how long have you had your period and how long has it been regular? It can take about six years for a period to become consistently regular, so it's possible this could just be regular hormonal fluctuations...

Re: Tinder Match part 2
It's unclear what your own goals and interests are for being on Tinder (since you didn't say), but I think when you unmatch and block someone, that's your gut telling you that you feel somehow unsafe with this person, and you should trust that feeling. Think about where this feeling of regret for bl...

I also do not wear a bra at all either aside from sports bras when working out. I have sensory and semi-dysphoria issues surrounding bras. Fortunately, I am smaller chested, so I do not need the support. I usually camouflage my lack of bra by utilizing multiple layers, nipple covers, thicker and sli...

Hi, humanbeing. I'm so sorry for what you've been through. It can be such a difficult journey just to be able to say what we've been through. As for reviews, I would try not to get too bogged down by them! Reviews can be really useful, but reviews also tend to draw people who are having an extreme feeling towards the product. Especially when we have negative reactions, we a lot of the times really feel the need to feel heard. Someone who ...
