Re: Why do I feel this way?

Unfortunately, mental health issues like this are outside the scope of what we do here. However, this piece has a list of resources (including some in the UK) that do provide mental health support and assistance: Anxiety and Other Mental Health Resources . I would strongly suggest that you use one o...

Re: Cold sores

Since the underwear has been through the wash I'd say you're likely just fine. Herpes is spread by skin-to-skin contact, most commonly skin contact with an active sore, and it doesn't sound like there's any actual chapstick left, just a stain.

Switching pills can definitely throw your body out of whack for a while, but you can always double check with a healthcare provider if you're concerned. As long as you started the pack of Loestrin when you would have started your next pack of Trisprintec, though, and took all your pills properly, yo...

Hi Tomj punch, I'm so sorry you're dealing with all of this. Amelia has made some excellent suggestions, and if you can I would really encourage you to try and find someone to talk to in person. If you're being bullied in school, there may be someone at your school - a teacher or guidance counsellor...

As long as you didn't throw up your pill, it should still have gotten in to your system, but it would be a good idea to check in with a pharmacist. They're the people who have the best information about medications and whether things like this will affect them.

Re: "Adjusting" my sexual "needs"?

Sex and (healthy) relationships just never seem to go hand in hand anywhere in terms of where to seek them out. I'm not sure that's really the case. (Although yes, it might be difficult to find what you're looking for right now as opposed to a few years from now when you're likely not going to be l...

Re: The pill

No, everyday things like burping, taking the pill without water, drinking hot tea just afterwards do not affect the pill. Have you ever considered seeing a therapist or counsellor to talk about your level of worry and how to cope with it? If it's something you experience a lot, and it's more irratio...

Re: The pill

Do you have any idea where that worry might be coming from? For some folks, for instance, the pill has too much room for user error for them to be comfortable with it as a method, and they feel better with a method doesn't need to be taken every day (the patch or ring, or even the implant or IUD). D...

It's absolutely fine to write down what you want to say if talking about it out loud feels too daunting right now. For some folks it's easier to write things down, and however you feel most comfortable filling in this new support person is totally okay: what's most important is that they have the in...

Re: I find orgasms kind of unsatisfying when I can actually get myself there.

So, it sounds like you have plenty of options for exploring pleasure in a way that's still sexual but that doesn't involve genitals, which is awesome. If orgasm and genital stimulation just aren't something you find enjoyable right now, or actually really would rather avoid because of the dysphoria ...

Welcome to the boards, lillie114. Since it sounds like he's been bringing up his sexuality on a regular basis in conversation with you, that could actually be a good way to open up a discussion about it. Maybe there's more he'd like to talk about as well, but he's not sure how to go about it. You co...
