Re: Chest binding

Okay! So I think try out giving your chest small breaks throughout the day and seeing how you feel, especially after you're fully recovered from being sick. If you're still feeling sore or if it gets any worse, you might want to see a doctor to make sure there's not any damage from the unsafe bindin...

Re: Chest binding

Okay! Can I ask what size gc2b you got? I know a few people, including myself, who have had trouble with gc2bs for larger chests. I've found that underworks works best for me- their double panel in the front is a little more stretchy than gc2b's, which made it feel less constricting. It might also b...

Re: Spermicide + Lubricant

Hi SugarPeach, Here's an article about spermicide from our Birth Control Bingo: Birth Control Bingo: Spermicides . We don't recommend spermicidal condoms, because they are proven to be no more effective than condoms without spermicide, and the spermicide itself can have some adverse effects. As for ...

Re: Chest binding

Hi there, welcome to the boards! I'm so glad you had a friend to help you, it's so important to have a support network. It's great that you're letting your body adjust to the binder a little at a time, but I'm sorry that you're still experiencing pain. Are you sure that the binder is the right size ...

Re: doubts about sex

Lube is almost always a good idea! textured condoms work for lots of people, but some people can't really feel the textures. If you want to, try it out and see what works for you. That's the only way to know for sure :)

Re: origin of a myth

It's hard to tell you where exactly that came from, but my guess would be that it has something to do with the idea of women bearing children meaning women are inherently caring/nurturing. The idea that they don't care about physical pleasure could be about the objectification of women- women are se...

Re: Not feeling pleasure during sex

Can I ask what you mean by more avenues? It would be helpful to have a better idea of what you're getting at here. Also, have you spoken to your partner about this? Do you feel like you could have a conversation with him about what gives you pleasure and what doesn't? It might be a matter of slowing...

If you took a pregnancy test properly according to the instructions, and the results were negative, then you are not pregnant.

Re: First Time and Worried

Hi ShortandSassy, welcome to the boards. First of all, you don't need to take EC. You have about a 24 hour period before your next pill is considered late, so don't worry about not taking your pill that day. It's great that you're confident you used your condom correctly, so Have a Little Faith in B...

Re: safe anal lube

Hi there, It depends on what materials you're using the lube with. If you're able to get it, water-based lube is always a safe choice for use with anything. If not, coconut oil is a good substitute, although it breaks down latex condoms so it can't be used with those. Coconut oil can be found at mos...

Emergency Contraception and Pregnancy Tests

Hi Lkm123, You mentioned emergency contraception and pregnancy tests. If you are worried that you might have had a pregnancy risk three days ago, it's not too late for you to take emergency contraception (plan b). Here's an article on that: Emergency Contraception . If you do decide to take a pregna...

I'm not sure what shopping looks like where you live, but pretty much any clothing store or department store that sells clothing should sell them. None of the things I mentioned are uncommon.

KittyPink- that may be true, but I'm going with the assumption here (based on the distress it's caused this user's friend) that most of them are trolls. Bananasplit- sometimes showing support means not talking about things. If your friend doesn't want to talk about it, show support by respecting tha...

Re: Feminine underthings?

Like Emily said, there are underwear that don't have seams- no pantyline underwear. Most "panty" style underwear should be fine as long as you're not wearing super tight jeans or something :) I wear leggings under almost all of my pants all throughout winter, that's an option too. (Bonus: ...

Re: My friend is trans and confused, how can I help?

Hi there, I can understand why this might be confusing, but the bottom line is that you need to respect what your friend is saying. It seems like you're a really supportive friend, and that's awesome! Continue to show that support even when things get confusing or difficult. It sounds like your frie...

Re: Pansexual ; Being sexually attracted to gay guys

Of course it's okay! Would you like me to send you some resources on gender identity?
That makes sense, but maybe your attraction to them isn't necessarily gayness but instead the characteristics that lead you to perceive them as gay?
