Re: Sleeping in Separate Rooms

Hi eatyourgreens In terms of sleeping in separate rooms, if that's something that's making you feel safe and comfortable then I encourage you to keep doing it (doubly so if sharing a bed with him makes you resentful). Sleeping separately isn't automatically a sign that a relationship is falling apa...

Sleeping in Separate Rooms

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years now. We’ve lived together for 3 years and generally we have a great relationship. In the past year however, the relationship has brought up our own issues to the surface more and created a lot of conflict. For me it’s brought up my own PTSD, making m...

Re: Am I Ready To Have A Baby?

Hi there eatyourgreens! Becoming a parent is a really big decision, it's not stupid to think it through carefully. It sounds like you've had quite a journey to get to the point where you can think about having a child, and it's normal to sometimes see old patterns re-emerge in moments of change or ...

Am I Ready To Have A Baby?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. I have thought a lot about this topic and seem to end up with no clear answer. There is so much to consider. And a lot of articles out there explain the ‘general’ signs that someone may or may not be ready, but it’s obviously not the same as really understa...

Re: Argument with Brother

It's okay to want space after an argument, even with someone we're otherwise really close to, and knowing that's what you need can actually make the situation less stressful. I do think, realistically, you and he will have another conflict in the future, just because that's the nature of having lon...

Re: Argument with Brother

It's okay if you're not ready to move past the argument, or are feeling kind of raw from it still. I will say that it may help to reframe at least one thing for yourself, which is him not apologizing for the way he communicated until you told him what would help repair trust. Rather than thinking o...

Re: Argument with Brother

Hi eatyourgreens, It can definitely be jarring when someone we're close to acts in a way that feels super out of character. And, since you and he haven't really argued as adults, it was probably extra stressful because you had no framework for how this usually goes or how to approach the situation....

Argument with Brother

Hi, I'm 26 years old, my brother is 31 and a recent argument between us has left me feeling really confused. Not just of our relationship but just confused about what I'm even feeling... My brother and I are quite close - although we don't live near each other, we talk almost every day, we game toge...

Bikini Line Hair at the Beach?

Hi, I am asking this question here because I think it may not be just me who has wondered this before. I am going on holiday soon, which will be a beach holiday, and up till now (I'm 20 years old) I have shaved my body (at least when I've been on the beach) as in my armpits, my legs and my bikini li...
