Re: First breakup, and don’t know how to deal

Hi Sam, I took a look at the article, and I'll be sure to check some of the things out, so thanks for that! Because I'm stuck at home, I'm having a hard time keeping myself busy with a hobby, I just dunno what to do. I'm working online, so I have a few hours filled with that, but again, I'm super bo...

Re: First breakup, and don’t know how to deal

So, I was going to see a therapist, and I really clicked with her, it was great, but between my two parents, we only get $500 worth of mental health resources, which would be like four and a half sessions. My parents told me to save up the sessions so I have them when I need them. Unfortunately, my ...

Re: First breakup, and don’t know how to deal

Hey Emily, Thanks for the reply! Sometimes I think my problem is that I'm with my feeling TOO much, I haven't slept much (at all really) because I end up thinking about him, the breakup, everything like that, and it's getting exhausting. I have been able to talk with my friend, they're really great ...

First breakup, and don’t know how to deal

Hio, So I’d been dating this really amazing guy for 6 months, and honestly I think I love him. He just broke up with me a few days ago because he told me he was into some drugs and said I deserved better than a drug addict, though he was neither an addict nor did I want ‘better’. These past few days...

OOHHH Carly, I love that! I find I love outfits like that too, but it's not super popular here, so I find that I don't wear them as much as I'd like.

Re: Platonic Intimacy: What does that look like for you?

So I've been doing online learning, so I've met some people out of my town through school recently. I've made this amazing friend who is bi, like I am (she actually the first bi person I've met that's my age) and we've kind of bonding about being some of the only queer people in class. We both ended...

Re: Parent of gay 9 year old asking for advice

Hi, I just want to say good on you for accepting your daughter for who she is. My parents accept me now, but when I first came out (when I was 11), they said I was too young to know about this stuff. It's just nice to see a parent being so accepting. Your chid knows, trust me. It may not be a sexual...

Re: Am I a Lesbian, Bisexual, or Biromantic Homosexual?

Hi, I hope it’s ok if I quickly jump in here! As a bisexual person, I can imagine being with a woman both romantically and sexually and being with a man only sexually. I suppose I could call myself many different things, but I chose bi because it felt the best for me. You are different from me, have...

Re: What's your favorite outfit?

I've always collected band tees, but recently I've found a nice little store online that sells them cheap enough that I can afford them. I normally like 80's rock bands, but I've started to expand my horizons with other genres like rap/hiphop, pop, etc. So far, I have three Pink Floyd, tow Beatles, ...

Re: Taking Care of Ourselves and Others Post-Jan 6th (and almost a year into a pandemic)

Hey ya'll, I'm trying to focus on my business and accumulating clients. It's a big job that I've been kinda neglecting for awhile, so I figured that it would be a good distraction. Other than that, I've been reading classics books by female authors, which has been interesting (Frankenstein, by Mary ...

Re: Counselling options

I’ll definitely make sure to talk to her about the resources! I’m not sure how my parent supposed would react, but I’ll brace the subject with them. One las thing. Do you think you could help me with a general idea of how to broach the financial subject with my therapist? I’m a little socially awkwa...

Re: Counselling options

Thanks for the quick reply! My therapist hasn’t ever really addressed the financial thing, though it’s more because we never have time. Because my therapy is through FaceTime, it’s hard to get any psychical workbook, and since any communication outside of sessions is through my parents (as per their...

Counselling options

Hi, I’m not sure if this is he right place to put this, but I think it’s fine. Here’s the deal. I’m 13 and go to counselling every other week. Both me and my therapist think it would be better every week, but my moms benefits doesn’t get mental health services and my dads only covers $500 worth. Tha...

Re: Something missing?

I forgot to mention that my parents don’t approve of dating at this age, so there’s a lot of things we can’t do together. Also, we've never met in person, as we first met during online classes. I don’t know if this might affect any advice, but if it does, please help.

Re: Something missing?

Hi,
thanks for the quick reply! I don't know if it's just the winter break when he was busy and we couldn't talk as much, or it's the loneliness of my pandemic Christmas, but it's been hard these past two weeks or so.

Something missing?

Hi, I'm hoping to get some advice with this problem/feeling I've been having. I'm 14 female with a boyfriend who lives two hours away. I really like this guy, and the feeling is mutual, but sometimes it feels like something is missing. We can't go and see each other because of the lockdown, but I mi...

First kiss during the pandemic

I'm a 13 year old who has a boyfriend. My family is very nervous about the pandemic, even though we live about as far away from a hot spot as you can be. I've been wishing I could see my boyfriend without social distancing, and actually have my fist kiss. We've been talking seeing each other for a w...

Lesbian? Bi?

I don't know what I identify as anymore. I know I'm gay, but I think I like boys too. How did you know you were gay/bi?
