Biography

After reading for many moons, Sarah first began posting at Scarleteen in 2000. She is pursuing a PhD at a university in the midwest/south and is currently working as an instructor there. She has also worked and researched in a variety of health care settings. Sarah feels that educating young people about their own health is a vital step in encouraging them to become responsible, pro-active adults. In her spare time (of which there is an unfortunately small amount), she enjoys travel, knitting, the Food Network, and Heroes.
