Biography

Lauren was born in Riverside, California in '87 and still enjoys the lovely landscapes, pristine air, and good health city life has to offer. Her hobbies include computers (primarily toying with Linux), reading, and no joke, sexual health. As a childhood sexual assault survivor and sexual pain disorder sufferer, she took it upon herself to learn all she could and help others with similar experiences, and finds being part of the Scarleteen team an enriching way to pursue that.

She's a student at the local college, majoring in registered nursing, and hopes to someday (if she can get it together..) enter a field correlated with women's health.
