MTV's It's Your Sex Life

MTV gets on the sexual health train by providing youth with information about preventing pregnancy, STDs and testing, and relationship issues. Each section is full of links, infographics, and resources for taking action, including finding a testing center near you and ways to become a GYT (Get-Yourself-Tested) advocate.

iwannaknow.org

Supported by the American Social Health Association, iwannaknow.org is a search function that allows youth to easily search topics of interest to them. Primarily devoted to preventing the transmission of STIs, there are also topics on puberty, love and relationships, and reproductive information.

FDA Approves HPV Vaccination

The vaccine, Gardisil, is only approved for women and girls right now but its maker (Merck) is looking into its use in boys and men. Hopefully it will be available to males soon since they can also be infected and transmit the virus to their partners. A few things have to be cleared up yet, such as at what age girls should be vaccinated and if pediatricions should include it in their vaccination schedules. The CDC makes its reccomendations June 29th.

More than that, any kind of sex shouldn't be about a lack of pain, but about the presence of pleasure.
