A Novel Experience (well, at least for me...)

This isn't going to be very long, but I just had to share this extremely refreshing experience. I’ve just recently starting having intercourse with a new partner. I didn’t originally intend to start having sex with him so quickly, but it felt right.

A New Prom Promise In the Making?

For years student at different high schools around the country have participated in Prom Promise (founded and organized by Nationwide) where they sign a card stating,

I promise not to use alcohol or other drugs. This is a promise I take seriously. It's one I intend to keep, for my sake and the sake of my friends and family.

Recently a school district has decided to take part in the sexual health protection of their prom-attending students as well.

Presidential Candidates: Abstinence-only or Comprehensive Sex Ed?

At this point I feel it's redundant to point out that abstinence-only sex ed is ineffective. Nevertheless, several of the folks who want to lead this country are still in favor of it or something called "abstinence-plus" education. (Abstinence-plus does offer a more balanced approach to sex ed, but puts a premium on abstinence rather than making informed, well thought out decisions.)
