Journalism is a unique field in many ways, but none more so than by allowing anyone -- regardless of education, training or experience -- an equal opportunity to work as a journalist. Some journalists spend years in school learning the skills, and many more develop their training on their feet. And the rise of the Web has only increased the potential for anyone to become a writer and reporter for online journals or through their own websites and blogs.
Wiretap is dedicated to publishing journalism by, for and about young people; it's why we're here. We want to encourage everyone to share their stories, and give them the skills to tell the best stories possible.
