All services at Rainbow youth are free. It is run by youth for youth and is committed to being smoke, alcohol and drug-free. They have a drop in centre in Auckland for people to hang out. They have a few social groups for queer and genderqueer youth aged 13-27, as well as PFLAG. They also organise some rad events like the alternative ball and parties. They don't offer counselling on site but can refer you to people who can help. Even if you live outside of Auckland feel free to give them a call, as they can let you know about your local services.
They also do affirming diversity workshops at local highschools.
You can get free condoms and lube posted to you, anywhere in NZ- on their homepage, click on the link at the right side.
I'm a lesbian and I've felt really included when I've gone along to their groups. The facilitators are lovely to talk to, as well.
