If one is stressiong out a lot, but is on birth control, would that affect when the period starts?

I know before when i was not on the pill, my period would come later if i was stressing out, but shouldb't birth control regulate a period? I'm supposed to get it in around a week, and i get in on the 3rd day of the sugar pills, would stress make me not get it at all?

The birth control pill does regulate periods, to an extent... It can only do so much though. If your body is dealing with bigger issues (weight, diet, sleep, stress, etc), you likely won't be regular, pill or not.

I wouldn't stress about not getting your period already though ...

Thank you for your reply

My situation is a little odd. On Feburary i took birth control without a break in between so that i would miss my period, it worked for a week, but then i had a heavy period for vlose to two weeks( i guess my body did not like that too much). I had to stop taking the pill in March due to antibiotics, and did not get my period that month, but not because i was pregnant. I started taking the pill again April 2nd, would that regulate my period, i mean, i should get it although i have been slightly stressed?

It can be hard to predict your bleed when things have been a little crazy with the pill. For the next cycle or two you may experience some breakthrough bleeding or spotting as your body re-adjusts to the hormones, but eventually it will even out and become regulated again.
