In my opinion, all women need a safe space to discuss what it means to be a woman in today's society. Not what society EXPECTS women to be, but what they actually are. This is a safe space for all women, female-identified or assigned-female-at-birth people. This is open for any type of discussion, whether it's about feminism, GLBTQ issues, abuse, sexual violence, body image, self-esteem, etc.

Go for it!

Clare: just FYI, we're certainly always happy to talk about these kinds of topics, but Scarleteen as a WHOLE, and the whole boards here, are exactly this kind of safe space for women and everyone else.

So by all means, feel free to gab this in this thread, but know you (and all the other women here) are also, and have always been, totally safe doing so in any of our threads.

And just so you know, if you don't see the kind of participation you'd like in this particular thread, that's probably why: we just have lots of threads on these topics active already. [Smile]
