Iv written a post about my friend before, she started cuttin herself and i'm really worried about her. I had to take er scisors away from her over the weekend so she didnt do it again and she was gr8ful.
Today we were talking, (well passing notes) and she was telling me how she sometimes feels like throwing herself out of a speeding car, falling back on her chair and breaking her neck, getting her hand caught inside a lawn mower, or just being paralysed and wanting to kill herself but not being able to.
She has only told me about this. She has also felt like this for almost two years.
I know she should tell her parents and i have tried to tell her this many times but she says she can't, she just needs someone to talk to and wants me to help her get through it.
She's a very emotional person and bottles things up all the time. I know i can't force her to do anything.

How do i help her?

Hey, Spacebag.

I'm sorry to hear that your friend is doing these things to herself, and is having these thoughts.

We've had many threads on this particular subject. This one has thoughts from cutters themselves, that might help you gain perspective on where your friend is coming from.

Also, I did a search for "cutting" and came up with many different threads. Go ahead and look through them, while others can help you answer your question.

I hope you do read those, as they contain a treasure trove of good information. Good Luck.
