I wish that I would have waited before having sex. I wish there was someone there to talk me out of it and parents who weren't afraid of "The Talk". Its been 3 years since I lost my virginity. There has only been one or two occasions in which the condom broke (almost 2 yrs ago) but other than that with both oral and vaginal sex the guy wore a condom. I tested positive and was treated for an STI the end of Feb. but I didnít have sex since the last time I tested last summer.. I did not have sex with my ex "xyz" who I dated off and on for 3 months. We never tried oral/vaginal/anal and we only kissed once. I do not know how I contracted the infection. One thing we did jan 05' was rub up against each other, but there was no penetration. That just goes to show you don't have to have actual sex to contract and STI.... It can be caused by real close contact with an infected area. I always asked my partners in the past to get tested but my ex "xyz" didnít take me serious about it. When I asked him his views about having sex with me he stated he wanted to have "raw sex".I Know just how dangerous that can be and I said no that would never happen and he insisted he was clean....etc... A week later I broke up with him because I could not believe his ignorance about sex. Of course this isn't all the details but if anyone would like to know more contact me. I'm planning on creating an online anonymous Journal about my story, and other people who had to deal with any bad situation/relationship. For more information email/IM me.

We also have a good thread here where people can commiserate and discuss with one another about having an STI or STD. I'll bump that up to the top for you.
