This is the start of my reply to your latest reply on the "A friend accused of molesting a child..." thread:
"Yes, you would know better than I. I have never experienced rape or sexual abuse, so do not have any personal experience on it, which I think is the critical thing here. Anyone who hasn't had it happen to them doesn't understand it fully in a personal, emotional sense. You make very pertinent points."
I've seen this, now, Wes. I was away from the boards a few days and missed it originally. No problem you asking, and I'll get to it when I can - but I might need you to wait a little. My brain's a bit full at the moment, what with dead mum, father being difficult and changeable and alarming over the whole thing, bereft step-dad, the entirety of a person's belongings and official stuff landing in my lap, and Partner moving town and starting a new job and finishing a thesis... Some days my brain is more capable of having thoughts than on others!

That's fine. When you're feeling like you have more available emotional space, you can read it. I just wanted to make sure that you were able to see the post at some stage - which I why I pointed you to here from the other sub-forum where you had just posted.
All the best with the various things that are happening in your life - trials and tribulations, and of course good things too!
