Here in Canada, anyone can get Plan B without a prescription. I think it's a good idea. I find it ludicrous that in the States you have to be 17 or 18 to get it.

Not in the US. If you are 17 or older, you can just go to the pharmacy to purchase it. If you are under 17, you need a prescription or you can have someone older buy it for you. The new packaging for the Plan B one step actually says on it: Now available over the counter for women 17 years and older.
