I've been straight for as long as I've known what the word meant. I have nothing against people who are gay, bi, lesbian, transgendered... (my there are a lot of orientations, aren't there?) but I've just never found myself attracted to other girls.

A few months ago I started getting into porn, and I found that I really liked it. To my surprise, I was not at all aroused by cum shots, male orgasms, or even the sight of a naked man. Instead, I very turned on my women fingering themselves, using vibrators, et al. I didn't want to sleep with these porn stars or anything of the sort, I was just very aroused. So, my question is this: Is it (and I hesitate to use the word) "normal" for and an otherwise "straight" girl to be aroused my girl -on-girl erotica/porn?

Perfectly normal.

What arouses us visually, in the sense of pronography, is fairly often NOT something we'd want to engage in in real life or would find appealing in real life.

Yeah, I just read that article and it did help. I was never particularily "scared" of finding out I was a lesbian, I just wanted to know what was going on there, you know? Anyway, thank you for that bit of reassurance. Just out of curiosity, do you know the stats of women who are aroused by femla porn?

I just finished reading that article and it was pretty helpful. Out of curiosity, do you know what percentage of women are aroused by porn?
Anyways, I was never worried about it being "normal" per se, I just didn't know how to phrase it. All I really wanted to know was what was going on, so thank you for the bit of reassurance

Hey, Miss Trixxie!

This really doens't have much to do with the ethics or politics of sexuality, so I'm going to send it off to Orientation and Identity.

See you there!
