i was at a party saturday night and there was a group of guys around and they were pushing girls around. and it was a good party, too, no beer or anything, just people having a good time. anyways, they (the guys) weren't touching, they were just being insulting, saying vulgar things about me and my friends. i was scared, and didn't say anything, esp. since i knew several of the guys. is this sexual abuse? what should i do? help!

Speaking as a woman, I remember one time when I wasn't physically harmed in any way, but I was threatened with vulgar words and a weapon. I felt very helpless and scared, even if I didn't show any fear. If you feel an action is inappropriate (and this sounds like it was), please speak up. It could make a big difference to someone. If you think speaking up could put you in danger, call the cops.
