My boyfriend and I have done it a few times. IMHO, I thought it was fun and different. Not something to do all the time, but definetely spiced it up a bit.

...and of course, not all role playing=BDSM play. It's possible to play roles which do not involve power imbalance, and I think that can be pretty fun too!

I think it's a great thing that can spice up your love life. A little creativity never hurt.

yup role playing spiced up my past relationship. we would joke around, and my ex used to ask if there was any chance i could somehow buy some hadcuffs lol, but i opted to just pretend that they were there, but not get real ones (i dont feel too comfortable with them cause i feel confined).
so we used to pretend we had a pair on and it was really funny cause the one who was sposed to have them on would *always* forget and need to be reminds about it. lol like i would get up to kiss him, and he'd have a sillie look on his face and say something like "if you haaaave cuffs on caaaaaaaant get up ::sticks out tongue::" lol it was fun
