Does anyone know of a good self denfense practice like Karate and such, that specifically lets you use the lower body most often?

Are you looking in terms of being friendly towards an upper body disability? Or in terms of strengthening lower body muscles? (I ask because there's adaptations that can be made to many self-defense classes, but other things I'd suggest for strengthening lower body)
