Tomorrow is my second anniversary with my boyfriend! Really happy.
Neither of us are materialistic, but I like giving him stuff every once in a while. Thing is, matters are complicated right now because after my mother told my dad that I didn't want to see him anymore because every time I did he was drunk, he got furious and took all my money. $220 of my allowance saved up, all gone. Oh well, I never put it past him to be such a jerk...
But I don't want to let that put me down! I still want to give him something, but I have to make it myself. I know none of you know my boyfriend, but what would you do if you were me? I want to make a nice, sweet gift using stuff I already have at home.
I would say something edible, but we already said we're going to make a cheesecake together tomorrow. I wanted to edit a picture of us on photoshop, but my computer isn't working (I'm using my stepdad's) and that's the one with all the pictures on it . I could write a poem...but I kind of wanted to do something apart from that. So (more out of curiosity for future reference)does anyone have any creative and inexpensive ideas they want to share? thanks!

For our first anniversary, I made my boyfriend a poster of all of the things we did together that year. I glued on all kinds of things, like a piece of sea glass I found on the beach we camped near that summer, and menus and pictures of us. I also drew pictures and got pictures of like the movie we saw on our first date, and where our first kiss was. It's kind of like a scrapbook, but it's on a piece of posterboard. He thought it was very sweet and it's hanging in his bedroom. Of course, one day he left his window open and it rained, so it's all smeared and lumpy now, but it's still on his wall.
Good luck and congrats on 2 years!!
