I think plum eye shadow would look smashing on you!

I love shimmery make-up, and I think whatever colors you decide to go with, they should have some shimmer to them.

I think along with the plum suggestion above, blue and green would also look good. But don't limit yourself to just one color.. Mix and match, it makes it fun!

Why not hit some of the make up counters at the mall? Have them do you up all snazzy.

Even if you don't buy their products, you can generally get them to smear a little bit of what they used on you onto a card so you can "think about it"...which then enables you to go out and color match with the cheap drug store stuff if you need to.

Hop off the outlaw train Kitten, beofre you land us all in JAIL!!!

Anyhoo, if you're under stage lights, you probably know that the make up is going to have to be fairly dark, as otherwise, even with your olive skin, you may look a bit, uh, dead.

I personally love golds, and I have brown eyes too and they look really welll( if i manage to smudge it and make myself look very surprised in one eye).

Even as the outlaw above said, you try some testers, mess around and see what works!!

lol, hey now...

Generally I would not advocate the above mentioned action. I myself do generally buy the expensive make-up for everyday use (the cheap stuff has a tendancy to give me hives). However, buying a $35 eye shadow that I only intend to use once for the special occasion is unreasonable. And if you ask the people behind the counters, they'll generally have the same opinion as far as I've found.
