ok, i'm just seeking advice on wat i should do with my life. i want to do something that's not too hard but challenging...that doesn't take 10 years and a phd to make money...something that makes a lot of money though and maybe have my own hours ...preferably in the science or even medical field...but doesn't matter.
so any suggestions...

hmm, no PhD or 10 years of school. that rules out research, medical specialty, professorships, Nobel Prize...

nursing. an extra year of college. no sweat. my sis likes it.

well, some research doesn't require a degree higher than a BS. A friend of mine does bioinformatics (biotech with some computer stuff thrown in)

i'm heading toward med school via research. that's actually about 12 more years of school. i don't mind. i'll just marry a rich boy who can pay my tuition for me.

if you get the molasses, i'll set up the trampoline.

From what I've seen of management classes, and a number of professional managers...the paycheck is willing, but the mind is weak. ;p

Yup, its a generalisation. But after two years of useless management training in my degree, I have reason to be grumpy.

But I'd have to say one thing: I pity anyone who chooses an occupation based solely on an effort vs. paycheque philosophy. Do something that you enjoy - you'll probably be happier.
