My boyfriend and I have done the deed a couple of times. We are always very cautious and we always make sure he does not ejaculate inside of me. Today, we were unlucky and so the condom broke. As soon as he heard it break, he pulled out. Immediately after pulling out, he ejaculated. He is sure he did not ejaculate inside of me but we are still worried that there is a possibility of precum being in the condom and could possibly get myself pregnant. I also cleaned up after myself. After an hour or so, we went straight to the pharmacy and bought the morning after pill. Should I be super concerned??

Hi Lode,

Since you took emergency contraception so soon after having intercourse, you've really done all you can and your risk of pregnancy here is quite low. Beyond that, there's no way for us to know; your best bet is to take a pregnancy test as soon as you can (most tests will be accurate once it's been 14 days since the pregnancy risk).

Here's some info on condom use that might be helpful; when stored & used correctly they're much much less likely to break. Condom Basics: A User's Manual
