This may or may not have been posted earlier I'm not sure. I've looked tho, so don't be too harsh if i missed it. I'm going to the nurse practitioner for a check up soon. I want to know if i can ask her for a perscription for birth control, and if I can does she have to tell my parents? I'm not sure if there are laws about that kind of thing in GA. I know there's Planned Parenthood, but none are open long enough for me to get to them. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate all the information available here.

As long as you are 14 or older you can get confidential medical care.

I'm pretty sure you have to get checked by a doctor first. And then he has to tell your parents if they want to know!
