So I'm going to be a senior this year and I've had this one really close friend who has been with me for basically my entire schooling. We've always had so much fun together and have laughed and played around a lot, but lately things seem to be getting slow. We already know so much about each other that so many of our conversations seem to go like:

"Hey, did I tell you about that time _______" "Yes. You did. Twice." "Oh." -silence-

Or "The other day _____ happened." "Really, something similar happened to me once." "Oh yeah, I remember you telling me about that." "Yeah." -silence-

In addition we've done everything together hundreds of times- movies, the mall, ice skating, amusement parts, going for walks, makeovers, etc. etc. and every time we do one of those things again it feels like we're just going through the motions since we do it so often.

Nothing big has changed about either of us, and it's not like we've had any arguments or anything but it seems we spend more time sitting around trying to think of something to do than anything.

I really do enjoy her company, and I think she enjoy's mine and I really want to keep her as a friend, but it feels like we never have fun anymore. Any ideas?
