Do you just mean scented candles with traditionally romantic smells like rose, vanilla, lavender, etc? These can be found at many places including malls (which sometimes have a candle store), stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx, and even dollar stores (Family Dollar is a good one). Or you could even buy them online.

EDIT: I don't know if you're in the U.S. or not. If you're not, the stores I mentioned might not exist there.

When people talk about something like "romantic scented candles," they usually just mean that they find scented candles romantic, or someone else might, not that there's a special kind of candle that's romance-scented (whatever that would mean).

So, if YOU find candles, scented or not (and yes, stores often sell candles that have scents, even the grocery store), romantic or think your partner would and want them to be part of your evening, then you can have some of those.

Just watch that you don't put them under the curtains or too close to the bed. That can turn a romantic evening into either total comedy or tragedy, depending. Either way, probably not what you're going for. [Smile]
