A guy that I've always been more than "just friends" with but have never actually been involved with, apparently has a girlfriend. I saw them when I was out today, and they kissed in the middle of the road. I wasn't too shocked, because I sort of had a suspicion that they were seeing each other. However, lately he and I have been hanging out and doing very date-like things (he cooked me dinner last week).

The problem is he has never mentioned her to me. In fact, when telling me a story that involved her he said "my friend and their friends" not even giving her a specific gender! I just happened to have heard the story from someone else and knew it was her whom he was referring to. Am I right in thinking that he was deliberately keeping her from me? What do I do now? I don't want to lose him, but I don't know if I want to interfere in their relationship.

It sounds like it's time to have a talk with him, tell him what you saw, and ask him to be honest with you.

It does sound like he might be keeping something from you, and no matter what decision you make about things, you deserve honesty and information to make a decision with.
