My girlfriend refuses to keep a supply of condoms in her room, out of morbid fear that her mother will somehow discover them and never look at her the same way again. We've talked about this a few times, and she also claims that we never have opportunities for sex at her house. Since then, however, we've had two opportunities, where we asked each other, "Why don't we have any condoms? We could totally be having sex right now."
So, any ideas?
Can I keep a bunch of condoms in my car or will that destroy them? Is the best idea a good hiding place? Or is it a lost cause...
Personally, I don't understand her fear concerning her mom discovering that she has some condoms? Hell, her mom should have offered to buy her some, but I guess that part of the equation is none of my business at all, so I'll stay out of it.

She could either be scared of her mom finding out because (according to her mom and under her rules), she's not allowed to be having sex, fear of her mom judging her, or the fear of getting caught. Sex is a very personal thing, and the thought of her mom knowing that she does "the deed" probably makes her uncomfortable.
Make sure to store condoms in a cool, dry place. Heat (including body heat) can weaken the latex....cars are a terrible place to store them.

A car is most definitely NOT a good storage place for condoms - cars can get pretty extreme temperature wise: freezing cold or below during the night/winter, very very hot during the summer, etc. and condoms are best stored at/around room temperature.
If just sitting in her room isn't a good storage place for your girlfriend, has she considered using a small make-up or similar bag that she could keep some and a tiny bottle of lubricant in inside a purse or back-pack? Those sort of items may be more easily hidden and discreet and less likely to be strumbled across than if they were just on a shelf.
How about you, do you have a back pack or other bag that you usually have or could have with you more often that you could keep some safer-sex supplies in?
