Are you two friends? Do you talk to him a lot? Hang out outside of school? Gimme some background to work with here. xP

From what you've said I'm assuming you only see each other in school... It's one of those school based friendships.

What I would do, is that when he jokes around about you two getting together try to make him get serious. "Really, we should go out sometime." And smile, and hope he responds seriously. =) If you don't feel you can do that, try flirting back. Since you are shy, it might not make much of an impression, but he will notice, and it may give him the initiative to step up and ask you out.

I know it's hard to overcome shyness, especially if you've been like that your whole life. But once you take the first step, it's probable you won't be as nervous/shy next time something like this comes up.

But i like her and want to ask her to citilion (no idea how to spell that) so i guess i should talk more? or ask for phone #? somthing along those lines?

Oh god, been there done that!Shyness is my nature, well what i usualy do is try to be friends first, it always helps because with friends you tend to be more yourself and feel comfterbal, give it time even if you want it now:).

Try to find conversations, since your at school you can always pretend you dont understand something and ask for help or just make a comment about the course , then you ask the person if he likes the school, their name, if they live close:P and there you go a first conversation! [Razz]

It's normal. It's love's blame... Don't try to change it. Just relax.
